Donations, donations, donations. Everybody's always asking for donations but you don't always know where the money goes. Ticket sales, unfortunately, cover only a small percentage of the costs to put on a production. There are the rights (usually costly) we have to pay to put on the show. Music/Orchestration fees (whether it's live or recorded), set pieces, construction costs (you would be surprised how much money is spent just on screws!), lights for the set, props, and costumes (another costly fee). No money is spent on the people. The actors act for free. The construction crew builds for free. The choreographer, stage hands and director volunteer their time. And the producer donates her extra (which she doesn't have) money as needed - all for the love of theatre! Any money that is made (rare) is then put into the next production.

In order to keep our theatre alive, expand our creative vision and provide you, the theatre audience, with quality shows, we have to ask for donations as well. Individuals and businesses interested in supporting the arts are vital. We gratefully recognize ALL donors in our programs for the entire season (unless you want to remain anonymous).

If you can't donate or just don't want to, another way you can help is to spread the word about our productions to your family and friends. Bring them to a show with you. Give them our website address. Ask your company if they want to become a sponsor. Any way you help will be greatly appreciated.
